about a year ago, a bit bird told the editors at home & house that Crate & Barrel’s more contemporary sibling store, CB2, would be opening up just around the corner from our office in Toronto. We heard it would open in March 2011. Well, look at your calendars, it’s lastly March as well as still no opening. Still, rumour has it that it’ll be prepared for clients at the beginning of the summer. While I patiently wait on the doors to open so I can really set foot in one of my most favourite stores, right here are a few products that I’ll be definitely adding (or wanting I might add!) to my basket:
This is an outside rug, however I’d put this guy indoors. I like the pattern as well as colours on this Casbah Rug, as well as being so durable, my bit dog Stewie wouldn’t totally ruin it with his sometimes devilish behaviour!
The Archive Credenza is definitely on the desire list, as well as has been a personal favourite of mine for a while.
I’m a big fan of large floor lamps. I like the combination of the high gloss powder-coated base paired with a material lampshade on the Alpha Carbon floor Lamp. A bit unforeseen however totally appreciated — I would welcome this handsome lamp into my loft any type of day.
I’m a bit terrified of bringing colour into my space, however I believe I might handle this Hatfield Grellow Rocker. This nod to the mid-century contemporary traditional Bertoia chair is a clever combination of lines, function as well as colour.
Now for the (easily affordable) product that I’ll really put into my basket as well as happily avoid away with? I’ve blogged about this light before — the utility pendant Lamp. The plan is to do away with my bedside lamps as well as suspend two of these from my ceiling. seems simple enough, however the tricky part will be trying to persuade my huge sibling to find as much as Canada to do it for me…
